The crowd watching Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter at the Tons of Rock festival in Oslo, Norway were in for a treat on Thursday (June 26) when the band brought out Billie Joe Armstrong to help them perform their classic "Anarchy in the UK."

Green Day was set to headline the festival later that night so Armstrong was watching the punk icons from the side of the stage. Ninety seconds into the song he ran onstage with a microphone and helped Carter sing while embracing the singer. “Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Billie Joe Armstrong!” Carter declared. The pair continued to sing together and then Armstrong helped encourage the crowd for a sing along, jumping and smiling the whole time. He eventually ran offstage and let the band finish off on their own.

Watch fan-shot footage of the full performance below.

Green Day's currently on tour in Europe, playing the festival circuit. Last weekend, Armstrong nearly got into a fight with someone in the Hurricane Festival crowd after getting repeatedly squirted with a water gun.

Video footage shows the frontman yell something at the person and then abruptly stop performing during "Jesus of Suburbia" and saying, “You f**king better quit it or I’ll beat your a**. You understand me?" The culprit must have listened because he quickly picked his guitar back up and continued playing.

After Europe, Green Day head to North American briefly before touring South America. They'll spend the latter part of September in the US, playing sets at Riot Fest, Oceans Calling Festival and Ohana Festival.

Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter are also gearing up for their first North American tour together. You can find the full list of dates here.
